Our brand-new Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine is ready for students, and at Meet the Teacher tonight, one lucky Hornet will win the chance to be the VERY FIRST student to use it! 🐝📖
Entering is easy! While you're at Meet the Teacher:
📱 Show Mrs. Adams that you’ve downloaded the Era ISD app
🔗 Make sure you’re connected to your student
🎟️ Then you’ll be entered into the drawing!
If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, tonight is the perfect time to get connected (if you are having trouble, we can help!)—and you might just leave with a very excited future book-vending-machine VIP! 🖤💛
We can’t wait to see everyone tonight!

We can’t wait to welcome our families to Meet the Teacher tomorrow, August 13th!🐝
📍 6:00–7:30 PM
Come meet your child’s teacher, visit classrooms, and get ready for a great school year!
We’ll see you tomorrow! 🖤💛

Meet the Teacher is TOMORROW, and we’d LOVE your help filling this truck! 🖤💛
If you’re out grabbing those last-minute back-to-school supplies, would you consider tossing one or two extra items in your cart for Era ISD?
Our goal is simple: give back BIG to our teachers, staff, and students! Thanks to your generosity, PTO has already been able to clear many teacher wish lists on our secondary campus — and we’d love to keep it going! 🙌
⭐ A special request we just received: Secondary is still in need of 50 college rule journals and 100 - 1 inch binders! ⭐️
Other items that are needed across our entire campus:
🧻 Kleenex
🧼 Clorox/Lysol wipes
🧴 Hand sanitizer
🥨 Teacher lounge snacks
🥤 Drinks for our staff
Every single donation helps. One box of Kleenex, one notebook, one snack, one case of soda — it all adds up when our community comes together! 🥹🖤💛
Just bring your donations to Meet the Teacher tomorrow night and TOSS ’EM IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK! 🚚
Thank you for always showing up and helping PTO pour back into our entire school district. We are SO grateful for you! 🐝💛
Let’s FILL THAT TRUCK, ERA! 🚚🍎🖤💛

Immediately Following Elementary Parent Information Night
We're excited to launch the WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program at our elementary this year!
WATCH D.O.G.S. is a nationally recognized family engagement program that encourages fathers, grandfathers, uncles, stepfathers, and other positive male role models to spend a day volunteering on campus. Volunteers help welcome students, assist in classrooms, support recess and lunch, and most importantly, provide students with positive male role models while helping create an even safer school environment.
Come learn more about the program, ask questions, and sign up for a day to volunteer during the school year.
We can't wait to see everyone on August 26th and kick off another amazing year together! 💛🐝

We're excited to announce that Era Elementary now has an Inchy's Bookworm Vending Machine! 🎉
A huge thank you to the Era Education Foundation for funding Mrs. Adams' grant and making this exciting addition to our campus possible. We are incredibly grateful for the Foundation's continued investment in our students and teachers.
We would also like to thank our amazing community for supporting our Bingo Night Fundraiser. Because of your generosity, we are able stock the vending machine with exciting literary adventures for our students to enjoy!
So, how does it work? Students will have the opportunity to earn a special token that can be used to "purchase" a brand-new book from the vending machine. 📖✨
The Inchy Book Vending Machine is another way we are working to foster a love of reading while celebrating student success. Tokens may be earned for:
📚 Reaching individual reading goals
⭐ Outstanding behavior and character
🎯 Academic growth and achievement
🏆 Special accomplishments and campus recognition
Our hope is that this becomes more than just a reward—it becomes a source of excitement that encourages every student to discover the joy of reading and build a personal library they can treasure for years to come.
We can't wait to see the smiles on our students' faces when they earn their very first book! 💛🐝
