Our Tee of the Month fundraiser gives our families a fun new Era shirt each month while raising funds that go right back to our students and staff! Funds help us provide student recognition and rewards, classroom and STEAM resources, books, field trips and scholarships, staff professional development and appreciation, and other opportunities throughout the year.

And thanks to the incredible support of our Hornet community, our September shirt sales have already made an impact! 💛 We were able to purchase over 100 new books for our Book Vending Machine, all-new prizes for our Hornet Heroes, AND a display case for those prizes to help us celebrate and recognize our incredible students!

We want to make families aware that our campus was placed in a brief Hold this morning due to police activity south of Valley View. We have now released from the Hold and have resumed normal operations.

At no time was there a threat or danger to our campus. The Hold was initiated out of an abundance of caution while the situation in the surrounding area was being addressed.

We appreciate your understanding as we will always err on the side of caution when it comes to the safety of our students and staff.

Muenster Invitational Cross Country Meet

The Muenster Invitational brought its challenges with the heat and tough course, but our Hornets and Lady Hornets battled and finished the race.

Emory Hearell led the Lady Hornets and earned a 10th-place medal. Walker Boyet led the Hornets with an 11th-place finish.

Junior High: Our junior high runners competed against more than 200 runners in each division.

Allie Huddleston and Emily Clinton led the way for the Lady Hornets with a 24th and 25th-place finish. For the junior high boys, Granger Hearell led the Hornets.

All of the Hornets will compete in Collinsville next Saturday. 🖤💛

Today we surprised our students with a completely revamped Hornet Hero prize cabinet, and today's Hornet Heroes got to put it to good use!
Our Hornet Hero program is all about recognizing students who are caught going above and beyond throughout the school day. We want our students to know that the good choices they make, the way they treat others, and the example they set do not go unnoticed.
The prizes may have gotten a little more exciting, but the best part will always be getting to celebrate some pretty incredible kids!
