More details will be shared as we get closer—stay tuned

 Bad Weather Make-Up Days

Due to school closures caused by the winter storm, April 6th and April 17th will now be instructional days. These dates will serve as our two built-in bad weather make-up days.

The district will also be submitting a waiver to TEA for the remaining missed days, in hopes that no additional make-up days will be required.

Thank you for your flexibility and continued support as we work to keep families informed.

We are thrilled to share that Era ISD has officially received an A rating for the 2024-2025 academic year! This achievement reflects the dedication, expertise, and heart of our incredible teachers and staff.

From the classroom to extracurriculars, our educators have gone above and beyond—pouring countless hours into lesson planning, building strong relationships with students, and working as a true team to ensure every child succeeds. This rating is not just a letter on paper; it’s the result of a district-wide commitment to excellence and a shared belief in what’s possible for our students.

We are Era proud!!

Financial First Rating

A huge congratulations on a job well done!

The preliminary Financial Rating issued annually by the Texas Education Agency has rated Era ISD as a district of A = Superior Achievement with a perfect score of 100.

There are 21 extremely detailed measurement criteria that must be monitored throughout the year to achieve this fantastic superior rating.

This rating is a testament to the outstanding financial expertise and procedures established by Era ISD CFO, Julie Maddux, along with the teamwork of all Era ISD teachers and staff who diligently follow the aligned business practices.

The leadership, support and prudent budgetary practices of the Era ISD School Board have proven exemplary with this remarkable Superior Achievement rating.

The state’s financial accountability rating system, known as the School Financial Rating System of Texas (FIRST), ensures that schools are held accountable for the quality of their financial management practices and encourages continuous improvement. This system is designed to help Texas public schools manage their financial resources effectively, maximizing the allocation available for direct instructional purposes.
