Mrs. Leann Spears

This is my 14th fantastic year at the Hornets' Nest.  I started out at Era, teaching 5th grade science and reading.  I did this for 18 years before moving to the library, and after all this time, I still love Era ISD!  

I also am fortunate enough to get to learn from our gifted and talented students in elementary, junior high and high school.  

I am also currently the district UIL coordinator.  

I am married with two children, a sweet granddaughter and 1 dog.  I LOVE books and hope to instill the love of reading in all our Hornets!
