Gober, Emma (3rd Grade Math/Science)

 

Hello!

My name is Emma Gober and I am beyond excited to be joining the elementary team at Era! I am originally from the nearby community of Saint Jo but spent the last three years studying elementary education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. After graduating from Texas Tech, I moved back to Saint Jo. The years in Lubbock allowed me to have an outstanding experience as a student teacher where I got to learn from multiple mentors across many elementary schools. I am thrilled to transfer the knowledge I learned at Texas Tech to my classroom here at Era! Thank you for welcoming me to the Era Hornet family!

Educational Goal

The main goal I have as a teacher is to educate the whole child. This means emphasizing lessons in character development and life skills in addition to the content matter. I am passionate about equipping students with skills they will use throughout their life- beginning at a young age. As a teacher, I am committed to teaching each child knowledge that will assist them through the rest of their education and careers.
