Mrs. Kathleen "Katie" Felderhoff
Welcome to Era ISD! I am so excited about teaching Science this year. I graduated from Lindsay ISD and love the small town atmosphere. I became a registered nurse (RN) in 1994 and then obtained my bachelor's degree (BSN) in 2007. I became a teacher in 2010. This is my fifth year as an Era Hornet and I love being part of this family and community.
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful summer and you're ready to learn. I spend most of my time off with my husband and our five children's families. We are proud grandparents (PawPaw & NawNee) to 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. We are expecting our 14th grandchild in October. My husband is a farmer/rancher, so we have cattle, horses, mules, and other animals on our farm. We love being in the great outdoors that this country life provides. I have worked in multiple branches of healthcare: home health, nursing home, family health clinic, and hospitals. My greatest passion was working at Cook Children's in Fort Worth on the Hematology/Oncology Unit caring for children who had blood disorders and cancer. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and personal healthcare experiences with you. I can't wait to meet each of you! It is going to be another great year at Era ISD.
