Hello Hornet Family,

I absolutely cannot wait to get started with my first year here in Era ISD. I will be teaching Agriculture Science as well as serving as your Career and Technology Coordinator for the district. 

I am going into my 14th year as an Agriculture Science Teacher. I truly believe this job is a calling. To me it is way more than a career, it is a lifestyle. 

My husband and I are both from the North Texas area. We are expecting our first child, Lainey McRae sometime in September and couldn't be more excited! We have two basset hounds (Flint and Rooster) who we love dearly. My family also raises registered Beefmaster Cattle and have a small hay operation. 

This year my classes will include Ag Mechanics, Ag Structures and Design, and Metal Fabrication as well as Wildlife and Fisheries.

FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members through premier leadership, personal growth and career success! 

This year we will "Light Them Up!" We will continue the growth and strengthen our chapter through building positive relationships among the staff, students, stakeholders and the community of Era, ISD.
