All about Mrs. Daniels

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Roger, for 43 years.  We have two grown children, Paige (and her husband Matthew that live in Alabama) and Cody (lives in Missouri).  We also have an 12-year-old who is starting seventh grade year here in Era. 

I am beyond thrilled and blessed to be working for the parents and students of Era ISD.  I absolutely love what I do for a living.

Our family loves to travel.  We love exploring our beautiful United States, but we especially love the Pacific Northwest.  My faith, my family and friends are the most important things in my life.  We attend Cooke County Cowboy Church in Gainesville.

Education: 

• Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4 (Early Childhood Development) from Texas Womans University, with a minor in Education and Pedagogy. 
• Certifications in:
  • ESL teacher
  • Spanish Language Instruction 6 - 12th grade.  

My philosophy of education: 

I believe that all children are capable of learning if provided with an equitable and safe place where they can grow as learners and can have meaning and voice in their education.  I pride myself on providing a positive, safe and nurturing environment in my classroom where students can acquire a second language and will have a fun and engaging time doing so.  

My hobbies include playing my ukelele, drawing and painting.  I love to scrapbook and journal all of our family adventures.
