Welcome!

My name is Courtney Carlton and I am beyond excited to start my fourth year with the Era Hornet Family! I am married to my wonderful husband of 15 years, Chance and we have sassy twin girls, Kyler and Kayeston, who will be starting third grade this year! I am passionate about learning and teaching and can't wait to pass on my excitement to my students. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and from Texas A&M University with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. 

The 2023-2024 school year marks my 10th year in classroom! I absolutely LOVE what I do and look forward to a wonderful year!

In my spare time, I enjoy hanging with my family and friends, listening to Texas Country and crime podcasts, sewing, crafting, bingeing on my "reality" TV shows, and being outside with our animals!
