The 2008-2009 school year is officially here.  We are looking forward to accomplishing many great things this year at Era ISD.  Our construction projects are wrapping up at this time and things are really starting to look nice.  We have a brand new parking area and soon the all-weather track will be completed.  There will be some growing pains as we wait for grass to grow back around the bleachers at the football field and also in the medians of the parking lot, but we are going to have some outstanding facilities for our students.

 

Our enrollment is up this year with 235 students attending the first day of school compared to 218 last year, and there is a buzz in the air with high expectations for a great year.  We have set a goal to be an exemplary district and are working hard to meet some lofty goals with our extracurricular activities.
